Generation We

Finals have left me with few active brain cells remaining, but I haven't posted for a while, so here goes:

I'll give an abbreviated response to the last post: 1. I hope not. 2. An unequivocal yes. 3. In the case of the comments you mentioned, it's not so much mean as it is insane. 4. Daniel Craig is the best bond ever. Screw the Connery fans, Craig is way more badass.

On to far less important things:

Check out this website. For some reason the video makes me gag and want to start a counter-movement... But I have to admit I agree with the general idea of "Generation We."

Of course, there is plenty wrong with the movement as portrayed by the website. Mainly, there's an old dude in charge, which makes no sense. If he was actually part of "Generation We," I don't think he would've wrote the book or created the website. It's commercialized and melodramatic. And there's no need for a "youth constitution" or whatever.

Our generation needs unity to some degree, but the movement this website describes is unnecessary. I think it is enough that we recognize our place in a world full of problems, and how we are distinct from generations past. There's no need to join a formal movement.

The millenials? Meh...
